Duet based on an aria (vocal duet) from Bach’s Cantata 110, for alto & bass recorders

The bass line is very nearly the same as in Cantata 110, transposed from A major to F, and the top has free new elements as well as lines taken from the original. (The aria also exists in a version in F major from the Magnificat in Eb, BWV 243a.). Note that we also offer a related work, “Variations on a Theme from Cantata 110,” for recorder and keyboard.
